Events Day 2006 : Be a Guest at Your Own Event

Clara kindly agreed to speak at our Events Day 06 conference in May on the subject creativity and innovation. She amused us all first with her definition of a deadline, and Mike – the headless chicken. She then made us think a little with an outline of what creativity actually is, and how innovation is making ideas real and usable. She detailed the role of the professional event manager, one who carries through the creative ideas of others, allowing them to be guests at their own event.
The delegates really enjoyed Clara’s presentation and connected with her understanding of the process and its outcomes. We look forward to hearing from her again!
